Dorset-based recycling scheme
The brief
Cupround, is a recycling scheme that set up a short term project and based it in and around Poole, Bournemouth, and Dorchester. It faced initial challenges with setting up their social media presence. Virtual Lottie stepped in to manage social media across platforms, including TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, and LinkedIn.
Cupround encountered challenges in initiating their social media efforts, particularly in the local areas of Bournemouth, Poole, and Dorchester. They required engagement, connection with local businesses, and the creation of 2 landing pages to act as a website to encourage participation in their recycling scheme.
The challenge
Virtual Lottie provided comprehensive social media management, engaging the local community by sharing posts across Facebook Groups, creating innovative & educational content to help people understand the scheme, as well as encourage people to join in to win prizes from reputable brands.
The results
Since bringing on Virtual Lottie to manage their social media, Cupround has seen a significant increase in their social media growth and online presence.
The following key metrics showed impressive improvements over a twelve-month period:

Additionally, we offered to build a landing page facilitate newsletter sign-ups and encourage the return of used cups through a prize draw.
The primary goals were to educate the local community about the Cupround recycling scheme and incentivise participation by offering prizes to those who participate in the scheme. This aligned with Cupround’s strategy to establish a sustainable and engaged local presence.
A tailored plan was designed to address Cupround’s needs, focusing on community engagement through visually appealing content, outreach to local businesses, and the creation of an interactive landing page.
Execution involved the creation of engaging videos, impactful copy, and graphics. Virtual Lottie managed social media platforms, fostering interaction and participation.
The landing page facilitated easy sign-ups and allowed cup returns to be tracked which was the most important outcome of the scheme.
