As business owners we know that marketing isn’t just about tweets and posts; it’s about creating a tale that not only captivates but makes you stand out from the crowd.
Virtual Lottie recently started working with an AMAZING environmental pilot scheme called Cupround, whose aim is to make it possible for us to recycle the takeaway cups we get from our favourite coffee chains. Cupround set up a short-term project based in and around Bournemouth, Dorchester and Poole. The company faced initial challenges with setting up their social media presence. We were delighted to step in to manage their social media across platforms including TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, and LinkedIn.
We spotted that they would benefit from 2 landing pages, accessed by QR codes, to facilitate newsletter sign-ups and to encourage the return of used cups through a prize draw, which saw 15 happy prize winners over the 3-month scheme.
We created an engaging social media strategy. Planning posts and content using SEO tools, alongside the implementation of tried and tested engagement tools, all impacted their reach over the 3 months. Through our hard work behind the scenes, within 3 months we got over 44k impressions on their posts! This is a massive achievement for a new brand and we were so happy to help them reach this milestone figure.
Lottie & Luke were an asset in the launch of Cupround. We could not have implemented the newsletters and social media without their knowledge and professionalism. Working with Virtual Lottie & the team was a lot of fun. This is how to get things done! Working towards a shared goal whilst enjoying the journey. Cupround is still in its infancy, for the project to continue to grow we will require the expertise that Virtual Lottie has demonstrated. Looking forward to developing further with them.
Review from Jon, Founder of Cupround
Cupround has engaged with the local community from day one through sharing posts on local Facebook & LinkedIn groups to help foster a strong relationship with the communities where the pilot scheme took place.
It became clear that LinkedIn saw the strongest growth over this time as we had interest from individual brands wanting to know more. This showed how crucial the recognisable brands are to the Cupround scheme and people enjoy seeing them paired with an environmental scheme in their local area which has the potential to spread to other areas.
We sent out two newsletters a month, which highlighted to subscribers the benefits of the scheme and how to get involved, both of which supported the wider messages going out across socials and on the landing page.
Virtual Lottie’s services positively impacted Cupround by establishing an active online presence, making the recycling process more efficient, and encouraging wider community engagement. At Virtual Lottie we recognise that building brand awareness is more than a tick-box exercise, but something that takes time, energy, and experience to craft. Our journey with Cupround has only just begun and we can’t wait to see where it goes!
