Client S: Case Study
client case study
From “I need another me” to a built-in team she could trust
How we helped a wildly in-demand agency founder keep growing (without drowning in delivery).
S runs a creative marketing agency.
Not “Instagram girlie with Canva.” type energy.
Big clients.
Serious retainers.
High-pressure delivery.
Real stakes.
She’s incredible at high-level strategy and relationship-building, which is exactly why she kept closing bigger and bigger projects.
But here’s the catch… Every time she said yes to a new client, she also quietly said yes to more doing.
The behind-the-scenes reality?
She was bouncing between client strategy calls and hands-on delivery work whilst also balancing family life.
She was still the one “just quickly posting that thing” for clients when she’d planned to stop working hours ago.
Her brain was split between:
– Winning the next account
– Holding every existing account together
– And trying not to burn out
This wasn’t a “how do I get more sales?” problem.
She’d already nailed that.
This was a “how do I keep up without hating my life?” problem.
S didn’t need more ideas. She needed more hands!
So instead of throwing her a course or a PDF or a “here’s how to delegate better” pep talk, we gave her actual execution capacity inside her business.
Here’s what that looked like for S.
We placed a dedicated social/media VA inside her agency. Someone with marketing experience who could jump into client work, keep socials moving, support delivery, and stop the day-to-day from landing back on S.
Then very quickly… S still needed more, so we provided a second person. Because demand was that high. Within a short window she went from “I can’t keep this up” to having 25 hours per month covered.
That’s 25 hours she wasn’t personally glued to delivery.
Instead of S being the person scheduling, formatting, following up and manually nudging client content over the line… she could stay in her lane:
– Pitching and onboarding new clients
– Owning high-level strategy (the bit only she can do)
– Being creative again, not reactive
And importantly: breathing room.
Not just “more revenue.” More margin in her actual nervous system and to spend time being present with her family.
After bringing us in:
She scaled capacity without the stress and time of hiring full-time staff.
No panic rush, no messy emergency hire, no saying no to dream clients that she really wanted to work with due to limited resources.
Her clients got the same level of delivery that she’s known for, without her physically doing it
Her standards stayed. Her voice stayed.
But she wasn’t the one chasing reels or formatting carousels for every client on a Thursday night.
She had space to keep saying yes to the right kind of growth & instead of turning down work she was perfect for, or saying yes and resenting it, she could take on aligned, high-value contracts knowing she had support to deliver.
And maybe the most important part:
The business started to feel good again.
This wasn’t just about making more money.
It was about S actually being able to enjoy the thing she’d built, instead of quietly resenting it for eating her week (and her weekend).
Why It Worked
S didn’t need us to fix her offer, her positioning or how she sells.
She’s exceptional at that.
She needed protection.
- Protection from becoming the default “I’ll just do it, it’s quicker” person.
- Protection from the constant mental tab-keeping of 6+ client accounts.
- Protection from being the bottleneck in a business that was clearly ready to grow.
That’s what our Social Assist model gave her!
A plug in team social media marketing team, who require zero hand-holding or micromanagement. Just high standards that matched her own. And her time back to be the strategist her clients are actually hiring.
